| Description | ACPID is the premier scientific conference in Australia for personality and individual differences. Researchers with interests in traits, abilities and other aspects of human variation will find a receptive multidisciplinary audience to engage with their work. ACPID 2012 is an official event of the Personality and Individual Differences Interest Group within the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and proudly hosted by the Personality Processes Laboratory of the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. Academic Sessions will be delivered in the modern facilities of Graduate House, located on University Square, The University of Melbourne. A pre-conference afternoon workshop on meta-analysis will be held the day before the conference. A poster party will be held at the end of the conference in the beautiful Gryphon Gallery (1888 Building, The University of Melbourne), during which student prizes will be announced and farewell drinks will be served. The main social event at ACPID 2012 will be an evening cocktail party after the first day of the conference (venue located in Melbourne CBD). |
