|Description||Dr Jim Bright will be presenting 10 1 hour webinars demonstrating how the Chaos Theory of Careers can be used practically for coaching people and groups experiencing change and transition. |About the presenter(s)||Professor Jim Bright, BA, PhD, FAPS, FCDAA is a Partner in Bright and Associates. Jim has over 20 years of international consulting experience specialising in careers, organisational development and training. He works with individuals and organizations assisting both with transition processes and training. He has a degree and PhD in Psychology. He has published ten books, and has over 450 peer reviewed scientific journal articles (the majority in leading international journals), chapters, articles, reports and conference presentations. He has won awards for his careers research and has become a best selling international author in the area of careers. His books have been translated into Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Italian, Russian, Danish, Romanian and Swedish. Approximately 150,000 people have purchased Jim's career advice.
He appears regularly on the radio with Richard Glover (midweek conference), Mikey Robbins, Ian Rogerson and Sally Loane. Jim has pioneered the application of complexity theory approaches to career development and is an in demand international speaker. Jim is a registered psychologist, a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society and a past National Chairman of the Australian Psychological Society College of Organisational Psychologists. He is a Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia, and a member of the National Career Development Association. In addition to his consultancy, he also holds the position of Professor of Career Development at ACU.
