| Description | The Foundations of Mental Health Work series of 1-day mental health workshops has been developed specifically for NGO community workers. It comprises 5 x 1-day workshops designed to assist community workers in their increasingly important role in providing services to people with mental health problems. What do we mean by "assessment"? What is the purpose of "assessment"? What are the types of assessment used in mental health work? What are the interpersonal skills required to make an effective assessment? What helps and what hinders the assessment process? How can we make an assessment using recovery-orientated practice? |
