Understanding the Mental Health Act |
|---|---|
| Format | Workshop |
| Presenters | Peter Bazzana |
| Description | Do you understand the Mental Health Act? You might be surprised at how often people misunderstand the Act and how it relates to providing care to persons with the lived experience of mental illness. If you're a worker and you'd like to better develop your understanding, please come along to one of our free workshops. This one-day workshop is designed for staff new to mental health and it is intended to provide an understanding of the legislative framework in which they will practice. Please note that attendance at this workshop is free of charge as this project is funded by the Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Office. |
