Schema Therapy- 1 day Masterclass
Format Workshop
Presenters Dr Susan Simpson & Chris Hayes
Description This workshop is aimed at clinicians that are looking to develop skills in Schema Therapy practice and formulation. It will time will be spent fine-tuning imagery techniques and assisting with other experiential exercises. In addition, time will be spent looking at the application of the model to patients with "cluster C" problems.

We aim to have 1 presenter for every 12-14 attendees, allowing participants to have optimum coaching, observation and adequate supervision of skills- places are limited.

Chris has had extensive experience working with complex cases using Schema Therapy in both the UK and Australia. He completed international advanced certification training with Dr Jeffrey Young at the Schema Therapy Institute in New York City (USA). Chris is one of a small handful of fully certified Schema Therapists and Trainers currently working within Australia.

Susan Simpson is a Clinical Psychologist who has over 10 years of experience using schema therapy with complex cases and personality disorders. Susan is the Psychology Clinic Director at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, where she provides training and supervision on the Master of Clinical Psychology course.
