Format Workshop
Presenters Gwenda Brownell & Lianne Neville
Description A two-day Workshop - an interactive skills focused program to assist practitioners in the helping professions to polish core skills of counselling. This workshop is especially designed for provisionally registered psychologists, new graduates, students those wanting to refresh their skills.
About the presenter(s) Gwenda Brownell is a Registered Psychologist who has been working with children, adolescents and adults for more than 20 years. Her particular therapeutic interest is the treatment of trauma, and she has a strong commitment to both undertaking and providing supervision. She has supervised a number of psychologists through their registration program, as well as providing supervision for both psychologists and practitioners in
other helping professions.
Lianne Neville is a Registered Psychologist with more than 25 years experience in working with adolescents, adults and children in both school and private practice settings. Lianne's
major interests therapeutically are in trauma and autistic spectrum disorders. She has supervised many psychologists through their 2-year registration program, and also provides supervision to other psychologists and community welfare providers. Lianne is passionate about helping practitioners to develop their skills beyond competence to polished proficiency.
