| Description | Dr. Wrigley offers valuable insights into the Psychology Board of Australia's supervised practice program based on her prior role of psychology professional officer for AHPRA and the PsyBA. The workshop will provide a practical guide to the Supervised Practice Program (SPP) and will enable participants to maximise their learning and development as psychologists. This is an essential workshop for all current provisional psychologists and those considering embarking on the SPP. Participants will gain valuable insights in to the purpose, function and requirements of the SPP, including case examples and case studies. |
| About the presenter(s) | Dr Wrigley is a clinical psychologist with a wide range of professional experience. Dr Wrigley obtained her Doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Melbourne. After working as a clinical psychologist within the Victorian public mental health service she moved to the UK to further develop her clinical skills and expertise. In the UK Dr Wrigley worked within the National Health Service for over 6 years in a number of clinical settings including primary care, community mental health, HIV services and cystic fibrosis. Whilst in the UK Dr Wrigley also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Analytic Therapy. Upon returning to Melbourne, Dr Wrigley accepted positions with a large public mental health service and AHPRA. Currently Dr Wrigley operates a successful private practice and continues her work within public mental health. |
