Hogan Accreditation Workshop

Description The two day Hogan Assessment Systems Accreditation Workshop has been established to allow participants to become familiar, proficient and accredited in using the three Hogan inventories; the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the Hogan Development Survey (HDS) and the Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI). Hogan Assessment Systems publish four assessments, each of which provides insight regarding personal characteristics related to job performance. The HPI, HDS, and MVPI, which are focused in the Workshop, are (a) the result of 56+ cumulative years of development, refinement, and extensive validation research, (b) consistently and significantly related to both subjective and objective indices of job performance as well as measurable organisational outcomes, and (c) the topics peer-reviewed publications. Well over 250 criterion-related validation studies confirm that, regardless of job, job family, or industry, the Hogan tools predict workplace performance without adversely impacting candidates. Because each of the three assessments predict unique variance in job performance, when used in combination (versus independently), they yield a highly-accurate and comprehensive picture regarding personal characteristics related to performance. This information can be used to enhance a variety of human resource (HR)-related applications ranging from pre-employment screening to new-hire "on-boarding" to leadership development and coaching.

After completion of the two day course participants will have learnt how to interpret and analyse the three inventories through teaching, group discussion and live, deidentified case studies.

The successful completion of the two day course along with the pre and post workshop requirements will allow a participant to become proficient in the understanding, analysis, interpretation and feedback of the three Hogan tools which will enable the participant to assess people for selection, development, coaching and research requirements.
About the presenter(s) Shayne is authorised to accredit psychologists, coaches and HR professionals in the use of Hogan Assessment Systems' instruments for selection and development and has used Hogan Assessment Systems' instruments for 14 years in a range of organisational settings. As Managing Partner, she is responsible for Hogan Assessments in Australia and supports global clients. She worked with Hogan Assessment Systems to develop the Australian Norms.
