|About the presenter(s)||Chris Golis is the Managing Director of Emotional Intelligence Courses and also a jack of all trades - having held jobs ranging from salesperson (ICL Australia - where he sold $1.4 million and took the only account from IBM for ICL worldwide), to merchant banker (BT Australia - raising $1 billion in funds) on to General Manager (TnT payroll systems - where volumes doubled, revenues quadrupled and annual profit increased 10 times).
Not only is Chris an accomplished author of three books, he is also a Cambridge graduate (Experimental Psychology and Economics) and a MBA alumnus of the London Business School.
Chris' EQ skills has helped him close over 50 corporate finance transactions which resulted in him being director of some 30 public and VC backed private companies as well as one of the few people in Australia who has successfully grown companies that have made significant capital gains for their owners including Scitec, neverfail SpringWater and veCommerce.
Chris is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of management, president of the Cambridge Society of NSW, and a visiting Lecturer at the MBA program of the University of Technology, Sydney.
