| Description | The SA Clinical College Committee have decided to incorporate the 2012 AGM of presentations and committee elections, with a free members only social dinner and a special guest speaker. |
| About the presenter(s) | Malcolm Hugo is locally known as a stalwart of northern community mental health services, through his public service work as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. However, he also works as a psychologist in international humanitarian settings with MSF (Medecins Sans Frontieres - Doctors without Borders). Malcolm has agreed to share some of his many challenges and experiences from various missions in Georgia, Uganda, Palestine, and Ethiopia. He will also be speaking about the integral role that psychological care plays in the context of disaster relief, from direct experiences working with MSF in Banda Aceh province in Indonesia after the tsunami, as well as in Haiti following the earthquake. |
