| Description | The workshop will use the clinical model of bio-psycho-social assessment to examine the cognitive skill deficits in childhood disruptive behaviour problems. The effectiveness of a variety of focussed psychological strategies specific to children with behaviour problems, including problem solving skills training, social skills training parent management training, will be explored. |
| About the presenter(s) | Dr Janet Costin has had more than 35 years as a practising psychologist, offering and has worked in both the Public and Private mental health system and in the Education system. . A career highlight was her years of work with the Victorian CASEA program, an early intervention program for young children with severe behaviour problems. |
