| Description | This short course in EBP will consist of formal lectures, small group discussions and workshops. Day 1 of the course will introduce the first two steps of the EBP process, including research designs. Day 2 of the course will focus on steps 3 and 4 of the EBP process, focusing on the critical appraisal aspect of EBP. After completing this course participants will be able to; Understand the principles of EBP Construct a clinical question Effectively search the medical literature Identify, describe and differentiate between descriptive and analytical study designs Interpret biomedical data Critically appraise studies of therapy |
