Supporting Children and Young People after Separation
Format Training Course
Presenters Lisa Robinson and Denise Witt
Description This 1 day course will consider the impact of separation on children (including the impact ofconflict); how children and young people may present and what could be happening in the separated family/ies. It will then look at tools, activities and strategies that can be used with children, young people and their parents to support children and young people at this time.
About the presenter(s) The course has been designed and will be delivered by child consultants from Uniting Care Unifam's Anchor program who specialise in this area.
Lisa Robinson and Denise Witt will deliver this course with members of the Anchor team.
Lisa is the Manager for Anchor and is a child, family and couple therapist who has extensive experience working therapeutically in this area.
Denise is a child consultant with many years experience in this area.
