Advanced Masterclass Workshop with Dr Mark Majors

Description The Australian Council for Educational Research invites you to an Advanced Masterclass workshop with international guest presenter, Dr Mark Majors, in which he will give insights into the understanding and integrating of the scores for the advanced Jungian scales found in the Majors PT-Elements.

Workshop content:

Connect the information in these scales with personality dynamics.
Integrate all features of the results into a more complete profile.
Explore the barriers in expression of natural personality affect relationships and performance in the workplace.
Apply the information in examples of applied coaching/counselling situations.
Learn how to use the advanced information to further team and organisational effectiveness.

On completion of this workshop, participants will acquire the following practical skills:

Understand the connection between Jungian theory and Majors PT-Elements advanced scales.
Discover the psychometric limits of using all of the scale information in the Majors assessments.
Have a general understanding of how to integrate the various scales in feedback and coaching sessions.
Develop skills for turning scale scores into questions for growth.
Understand how to use the scale knowledge in relationship interventions (dyads, teams, organisations).

About the presenter(s) Dr Mark S. Majors is a counselling psychologist with extensive psychometric credentials. He is the author and developer of the MajorsPTIT, MajorsOEMT and Majors PT-ElementsT) and principal developer of the Interstrength® X-Styles Assessment. He provided the data analysis on the 1994 Strong Interest Inventory and the MBTI® Form M and Form Q, developed the IRT scoring for the MBTI® Form Q, and co-authored the MBTI® Form Q Manual. In addition to the test development, Mark trains pastoral counsellors with an emphasis on the use of personality assessment for conflict resolution through the acceptance of differences and personal growth. He has developed and presents leadership training seminars that train leaders to serve others by using personality and individual differences to facilitate optimum performance. He has provided 19 years of successful individual and couples/marital counselling and coaching using personality differences and has authored numerous books, manuals and articles on personality differences and biblical psychology. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in psychology from Iowa State University and his PhD in counselling psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
