Psychologists wishing to build a presence in cyberspace need to become aware of personal branding and search engine optimisation -ie- the psychology of the Internet itself. This seminar assumes some basic Web familiarity and goes on to show how to mix free and affordable tools to reach and engage local and even international audiences.|
|About the presenter(s)||Dr Tom Benjamin (tom-dot.com) is a psychologist and demographer. He has presented workshops for Australian psychologists since the early days of PCs. In recent years he has worked as a research officer in learning and innovation. His websites for online game delivery and multimedia have received international attention. Typing 'movie tom' or 'tv tom' in most search engines finds him at page #1. He will discuss personal branding and applications to psychological practices.
Alem Mirvich, director of Melbourne Signs, is an expert in the use of brief key word- laden messages. Nowhere are these more important than in signs.
