| Description | This bi-annual event aims to cover a range of career options for neuropsychology students! The night will comprise of three presentations, given by neuropsychologists from a diverse range of backgrounds. |
| About the presenter(s) | Dr Gloria Smith-Tappe a senior neuropsychologist at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre will be speaking about working in teams and negotiating work roles with other professionals, as well as tips on preparing for job applications and interviews. Dr Rene Stolwyk is a research and clinical neuropsychologist, with extensive experience across a range of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders, in particular, stroke and TBI. Dr Stolwyk worked in London for 4 years based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square prior to taking a position at Monash University. He will present on his experiences working overseas, and the processes involved in working abroad. Dr Shannon Scratch recently Graduated from Melbourne University and is currently completing the registrar program at Austin Health. She will present her experiences as a new graduate and the challenges in balancing her clinical, research, and leadership commitments with a balanced life. |
