| Description | This course works on using drama as a method of resolving emotional trauma. It provides direct experience of therapeutic group processes and the processes of creating, maintaining and closing a therapeutic group which provides a forum for creating and sharing artistic images of group members' experiences and the meanings that arise from this image making. |
| About the presenter(s) | Sue Gibson is an accomplished drama therapist. Her teaching background includes teaching music and drama in various city and rural high schools and most recently lecturing in Drama at Edith Cowan University in Bunbury WA. Sue has designed, directed, produced and performed in numerous amateur and professional theatre companies throughout Australia. She has also attended and presented at many Arts and Drama conferences throughout Australia and the world. Sue has also been involved in many arts festivals including co-producing the Broome Fringe Arts Festival in 1999.Sue currently runs group drama therapy workshops throughout the South West region of WA. |
