| Description | A three day workshop course held in Brisbane, on Grief & Loss in Life & Death. This workshop is a unit of the Vocational Graduate Diploma of Buddhist Psychotherapy & Counselling Course. This may be studied as a single workshop for those interested in this specific subject whereupon recognition of completing this unit shall be given. There are no assignments or pre-reading required Change in our work, family and personal lives as well as environmental and planetary changes produce mental states of attachment, anguish and grief and loss which result in considerable mental disease and sometimes depression. | About the presenter(s) | Neli Martin is a counsellor and psychologist, and runs a private practise based on mindfulness techniques. Neli has worked in child protection, juvenile justice, domestic violence and organisational settings for a number of years in Queensland and the UK. She has interwoven her psychology training with Buddhist Dharma mindfulness study and practices these together along with Yoga Teaching and meditation. |
