Counselling Psychology in Australia and the International Perspective: An evening with Elaine Hosie

Format Seminar/Presentation
Presenters Elaine Hosie
Description In July 2012, Elaine Hosie was invited by the Counselling Division of the British Psychological Society to be part of an international forum on counselling psychology. She will report on counselling psychology internationally, the significance for counselling psychology in Australia and the international alliance formed at that meeting.

The evening will also be the perfect occasion for the College to present its yearly awards for best Doctoral and Master's theses in Counselling Psychology, as well as an opportunity for networking with your fellow College members.
About the presenter(s) Elaine Hosie is an endorsed Counselling Psychologist currently working in private practice. Her work is informed by object relations theory and the impact of life events on the ongoing development of the self. She is also a registered teacher and has spent much of her professional career working in the education sector both at tertiary and secondary levels. She is a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society.
