Presenters Peter Kyriakoulis
Description This lecture explores the different techniques and methods in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to aid in reducing anxiety and depression.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a mindfulness based therapy which focuses on taking action in accordance to one's value in order to create a rich and meaningful life. In recent years, mindfulness based psychological approaches are becoming increasingly popular in helping to reduce stress, increase self awareness, manage painful thoughts, feelings, memories and urges. Mindfulness can be described as a transformative mental state of awareness, openness and focus.
