| Description | The purpose of the workshop is to enable eligible psychologists and counsellors to meet the mandatory requirements for approval as a WorkCover NSW treatment provider. The workshop will - Describe the purpose, drivers and mechanics of the NSW Workers Compensation system - Explain the principles of reasonably necessary treatment - Expand upon the five Treatment Principles for the provision of psychological and counselling services - Explain the roles, procedures and protocols for psychologists and counsellors in the system - Describe WorkCover's approach to the management of workers with soft tissue injury - Identify through case studies the features of a sound psychological/counselling management plan |
