Presenter(s): Keynotes include Professor Karina Davidson and Professor Suzanne Chambers MAPS MCHP

This will be the inaugural joint conference held by the Australiasian Society of Behavioural Health and Medicine and the APS College of Health Psychology.

The program will include keynote addresses, symposia, oral and poster presentations, meetings of special interest groups, and a series of outstanding teaching and training workshops for clinicians and researchers.

This conference will be attended by experts in behavioural medicine and health psychology from across Australasia, offering an excellent opportunity for networking, collaborating and experience the latest in health behaviour change research and practice. 

Learning outcomes

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will have gained updated knowledge in key areas of health psychology.

Detailed learning outcomes will be provided when the conference program is finalised.

About the presenter(s)

Professor Karina Davidson is Professor of Behavioural Medicine in Medicine, Cardiology, and Psychiatry, Columbia University Medical Centre, USA; Director of the Centre for Behavioural Cardiovascular Health, Columbia University Medical Centre; and Associate Director of the Columbia University Clinical & Translational Science Award (CTSA).

Professor Suzanne Chambers is the Director and Menzies Foundation Professor of Allied Health Research at the Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University
