College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists - 2017 Conference

Live Well Learn Well....throughout life

Welcome from the Chair of the 2017 CEDP Conference Organising Committee

It is with great excitement we announce that the CEDP Conference 2017 will be held in Brisbane taking advantage of their winter weather.

Renowned international and national experts will present on five conference streams:

  • Early childhood and early intervention
  • Mental health across the lifespan
  • Disability
  • Ageing

We are also pleased to launch the book 'Making Sense of Interventions for Children with Developmental Disorders' (Bowen and Snow 2017) at this conference – an exceptional contribution to the research on what works and what doesn’t in evidence based practice.

We look forward to meeting you in sunny Brisbane where there are many activities you and your family may find interesting.

The conference on 7th July is open to all psychologists whether practitioners, educators, researchers or clinicians from all states and territories of Australia as well as interested international participants. Members are also keen to invite others interested in educational and developmental psychology to expand the depth and breadth of interaction around these extremely important professional skills and knowledge.

Previous conferences have demonstrated the keen desire of psychologists and others to understand and learn more about effective implementation of up to date research and best practice.
