Workshop: Neuroscience and Coaching

Event number: 18721
3.5 CPD hours
Presenter(s): Paul Saunders MAPS

Neuroscience deals with the structure and function of the nervous system and brain. In psychology there are now three key fields:  behavioural neuroscience (Breedlove, et al, 2005), cognitive neuroscience (Kosslyn & Andersen, 1992), and affective neuroscience (Dalgleish, 2004). There are several books on neuroscience and coaching, such as “Neuroscience for Coaches” by Amy Brann and a growing interest by business leaders, Human Resource professionals, sports coaches, and coaches looking to understand neuroscience and how it works.
