Feedback and Reflective Practice in Supervision Master class

Event number: 19062
7 CPD hours
Presenter(s): Dr Daphne Hewson

Reflective practice is emerging as a key approach in supervision and consultation. Both the supervisor and the practitioner need skills in how to reflect and how to give and receive reflective feedback. This interactive workshop provides theory and skills training in how to create a safe reflective space and engage in reflective dialogue. Participants are provided with a detailed handbook and Reflective Tool Kit that includes tools developed for reflective supervision.

Designed for health professionals who provide supervision or consultation to staff, colleagues and trainees (including Provisional Psychologists and Psychology Registrars). Practitioners/trainees who participate in reflective practice sessions are also welcome.

The workshop is recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Master Class for Board-approved Psychology supervisors to renew their supervisor status for 5 years.
