Welcome from the Conference Chair Dear Colleagues, The APS Counselling Psychology National Conference will be held in Melbourne, Victoria, from 21 - 24 February 2013. The theme for the conference is evidence based approaches to practice. This is our inaugural national conference and will enable academics, researchers and practitioners from Australia and overseas to showcase research and practice in Counselling Psychology. This three day event will feature keynote addresses on the first two days of the conference, as well as a range of paper sessions, symposia, mini workshops, professional and practice fora and how-to-sessions. The Conference will also provide the opportunity for postgraduate Counselling Psychology students to present their research. The third day of the Conference will feature two full day workshops by two of the Conference keynote speakers. Along with the scientific program, there will be opportunities to network with fellow colleagues, through the Conference welcome drinks and Conference dinner.
