Comorbidity: Conceptualisation and treatment planning |
|---|---|
| Format | Seminar/Presentation |
| Presenters | Matthew Smout |
| Description | Clients with multiple diagnoses present more dilemmas to clinicians than clients with a single diagnosis. This seminar reviews empirical research that informs decisions about treatment protocol selection with comorbid clients to provide empirically supported guidance where it exists, and make clear where this is unknown. Decision-trees for treatment planning are suggested and clinical examples of conceptualisations and treatment plans are presented. |
