Balint Leadership Intensive
Format Training Course
Presenters Balint Society of Australia and New Zealand
Description A Balint experience and leadership training for clinicians and GPs. Balint groups are facilitated peer groups where clinicians present and discuss cases with the focus on the clinician-client relationship. Balint groups provide a safe setting for clinicians to explore emotionally challenging cases and to learn new skills and perspectives to manage in complex situations.
The Intensive's goals are to learn leadership skills, experience Balint groups and meet and work with other mental health clinicians. Most of the work occurs in small groups with designated group leaders.
