A Board of Directors governs the APS. The Board’s responsibilities to members are outlined in the Society's Constitution. Find out about the Board
Groups
A large number of members of the Society participate on Committees, Taskforces, Advisory, Reference and Conference Organising Groups. Their contributions are very significant for the Society's operations, and ensure a diverse range of opinions are considered in policy making.

Board Advisory Groups
The Board is supported by five Advisory Groups, each with a particular focus in key strategic areas. The Advisory Groups are comprised of members of the Society with expert knowledge in the particular strategic area covered by the Group, together with two Board Directors. Members of Advisory Groups are appointed by the Board for a one-year term following a call for Expressions of Interest.
