KidsMatter is a national mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention initiative for primary schools, which aims to strengthen children's mental health by enhancing identified protective factors and reducing risk factors for poor mental health in children. KidsMatter aims to achieve this by focusing on four key components: creating a positive school community; mental health promotion for students; parenting education and support; and early intervention for children who are at risk or experiencing mental health difficulties.
