International Affiliate

This grade is available to those living overseas who are members of a professional psychology membership body or organisation similar to the APS. To be admitted as a International Affiliate of the Australian Psychological Society, you must provide proof of membership of a recognised national psychology association outside Australia.

APS College membership

International Affiliates can also join an APS College in one of nine specialty areas:

• Organisational Psychology
• Sport Psychology

Criteria

College International Affiliates must be an International Affiliate of the Society and interested in the specialist field of the College.  

Membership for applications lodged between 11 February 2012 and 31 May 2012

The annual International Affiliate subscription for 2011-12 is $95. By joining between 11 February and 31 May 2012 you receive up to 15 months membership for the price of 12 months.

All applicants who join during this period (including upgrading members) pay the above amount and receive membership until 31 May 2013.  The APS Board of Directors will set the 2012-13 International Affiliate Member subscription in April 2012.  If you join after April 2012, please check the APS website for the updated amount.
