When a disaster impacts a region, APS members appreciate some communication and leadership from their APS Branches. Whilst direct support from psychologists is more likely to be needed in the weeks and months following an event, members in a disaster-affected area are usually wondering what is happening and how they can be involved. Following are some suggestions about APS Branch responses that might be helpful.
