Live/Interactive Workshop: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD Treatment in Adults

Overview

This training workshop provides a comprehensive overview of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) treatment for mental health professionals working with adult OCD clients.

Access the foundation modules now in the pre-recorded modules and consolidate your knowledge through interactive practice at the next LIVE, INTERACTIVE ONLINE WORKSHOP on MAY 8th, 2026 (limited to 20 participants only). Registrations, full details and testimonials are available here: https://ocdtraining.thinkific.com/

Dr. Gayle Maloney, Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at Perth OCD Clinic in Australia, and Associate Clinical Professor at the Yale OCD Research Clinic, will provide practical clinical skills to guide you through a detailed treatment protocol for ERP. The workshop consists of 12 modules of pre-recorded didactic content, role-play videos demonstrating clinical skills, downloadable worksheets, and reflection exercises (7 hours of CPD); PLUS a live, online clinical skills workshop (5 hours CPD) to practise the ERP skills.

The pre-recorded training modules cover assessment, diagnosis, clinical features, subtypes of OCD, case formulation, personalised OCD models, psycho-education, cognitive interventions, and mindfulness-based strategies. The focus will be on developing individualised, values-based ERP hierarchies with corresponding response plans. The workshop also includes advanced topics in OCD, such as the clinical application of ERP treatment through in-depth case studies of adult OCD sufferers with different subtypes of OCD, designing and implementing imaginal exposure, identifying treatment-resistant OCD and treatment sequencing considerations, addressing beliefs related to perfectionism/self-worth, relapse prevention, and common hurdles. Furthermore, a webinar by Dr. Christopher Pittenger (MD & PhD; Professor of Psychiatry at Yale OCD Research Clinic) providing an overview of the neurobiology and pharmacotherapy treatment for OCD is included. The training modules are provided immediately on purchase and access is provided for six months.

Join us for an additional live online workshop via Zoom where you can practice applying your ERP skills in small breakout rooms. Dr. Maloney will be there to provide guidance and support, and there will be multiple Q&A sessions for participants. Due to the practical nature of the workshop, a maximum of 20 people can participate in the live clinical application workshop, and the live component of the workshop cannot be recorded.
