Professional advice

We are here to help our members.

The APS is the go-to organisation for comprehensive responses to psychology questions. We draw on the collective experience of our network of members to advise on problems, address concerns and guide the way for you professionally.

Our team are on call to help members, whether they are practicing psychologists, academics or are working in other settings, including business, sport, courts, corrections, health, education and more.

Member helplines

Our members have exclusive access to expert advice lines to support them in all professional challenges. Call or email our team to receive reliable, up-to-date and comprehensive information.

Our Professional Advisory Service (PAS) team handle member enquiries on topics including ethical assistance, legal issues, practice issues, Medicare and working with third-party providers. Members benefit from the teams comprehensive understanding of professional issues facing psychologists.

The Member Assistance Centre (MAC) team answers member enquiries regarding national registration, areas of practice endorsement and clarification of CPD requirements.
